User Responsibilities
Safe Usage
Important: Running and physical exercise carry inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your safety while using Pacer.
- Medical Clearance: Consult with a healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program
- Environmental Awareness: Remain aware of your surroundings, traffic, and weather conditions
- Physical Limitations: Do not exceed your physical capabilities or ignore signs of fatigue or injury
- Device Safety: Ensure your device is securely attached and does not interfere with your movement
Proper Use
- Use the app only for its intended fitness tracking purposes
- Provide accurate information when setting up your profile and goals
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the application
- Respect intellectual property rights and do not redistribute the app
Subscription and Pro Features
Pacer Pro Subscription
Upgrade to Pacer Pro for more control over your training:
- Custom Pace Targets: Set any pace you want, not just presets
- Custom Reminder Intervals: Get pace updates exactly when you need them
- Subscription Management: Managed through your Apple ID and App Store account
Billing and Cancellation
- Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store
- Billing terms and cancellation policies follow Apple's standard terms
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
Privacy and Data
Location Data
Pacer requires location access to function properly:
- GPS data is used exclusively for tracking your workouts
- Location information is processed locally on your device

- You can revoke location access, but this will limit app functionality
Health Data
- Health and workout data is stored securely in Apple HealthKit
